The 24 hour operational 25,000 m² Cargo Terminal operated by Bahrain Airport Services provides a full range of services including export cargo sales, trans-shipment, inter airport trucking, customs clearance. Break-bulk, bonded warehousing, freezers, chillers, cold store storage, dangerous goods, livestock, radioactive material, valuable and diplomatic cargo and mail facilities are also provided.
DHL have their Middle East Headquarters and main regional distribution centre ****d at the airport. With over 115 weekly flights and 250 vehicles they operate an integrated air and land network. Other major cargo and logistics agencies include FEDEX, TNT Express, Aramex and Global Logistical Services(GLS).
Cargo tonnage has reached +/- 250,000 tons per annum in 2014
